Correspondence and Centre Based Learning

The IABTC has prepared courses especially for people like you. People with an interest in animals, a desire to learn, and often specialist interests that are not catered for in many colleges or other places of learning. Ideal for enthusiasts, instructors, tutors, etc. We also offer regular pet training courses following the Kennel Club Good Citizen Test Scheme at the Haxey Study Centre - ideal for those living not too far away for example Haxey, Epworth, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Goole, Gainsborough, Isle of Axholme, North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire, or Humberside.

IABTC tutors have a broad base of knowledge and qualifications and as well as teaching at the centre provide their services elsewhere in the UK and around the world. With links to other colleges and institutions as well as The Kennel Club and the animal industry you can be assured of up-to-date tuition.
The IABTC has tutors, assessors and validators who have nationally recognised qualifications and adhere to college based quality assurance; therefore you are assured of a fair, prompt and unbiased assessment of your work. In most cases assessment is an on going process with formal tests and examinations kept to a minimum.

Tution At Your Own Venue Also Available - UK and Worldwide

Dog clubs, instructors, colleges, schools, rescue centres, sanctuaries, animal collectors, commercial enterprise etc., are invited to contact us to book courses, workshops and seminars at your own venue. Sessions can be tailored to your own learning programme, level and ability. Tutors are qualified and experienced to teach all levels and abilities and will be sure to adapt the session to make it enjoyable and useful to all who attend.
