IABTC Life Skills Dog Training

Saturday Half Days & Some Full Days with Karen Holmes KPA Drop-in Session 10-12.30 £20.00.

Open to All – new beginners, as well as seasoned regulars or experienced trainers – sessions will be organised to suit the group on the day.

Not Long Enough? - Occasionally Saturday sessions are extended to full day sessions – you can still do the half day or stay for the full day – check with the instructor for details. £20-£35

Too Long? – You can just do the first hour – ideal for those with younger dogs or those just wanting basic life skills. £10 per hour.

Tuesday Evening Life Skills Class with Jayne Butler and Amanda Robinson

  • Juniors - Activities Dog Club – a New session for Juniors wishing to enjoy dog training from basics and beyond

  • Puppy Socialisation,

  • Adolescent Hooligans Class

  • Junior/ Young Adult Classes

£10 per 1 hour session - book 4 in advance to be sure of a place and a time slot. Numbers limited.


One to One Personalised Tuition

For those with more challenging dogs or those who prefer tuition on a 1-1 basis.

Monthly training sessions and extras!! IABTC MDT Awards offering you more choice and a variety of interesting and useful challenges to achieve with your dog. Building on your relationship with the dog and with an emphasis on getting to know and read your dog better. Taking you though basic - advanced control. Lots of imaginative and non-competitive challenges to choose from including: Life-skills and Activities including – Obedience, Rally, Nose-work, Retrieve, Agility, Flyball, Hoopers, Carting, Treibball, HTM, Tricks, Handy hound, and much more.


Ideal for those wanting to make progressive steps to produce a well-trained dog that you can be proud of and is a pleasure to own. (Great alternative way of proving your dog training skills for KCAI.)


Sessions relaxed & friendly. All levels welcome.

EXTRAS - For regular attenders, additional away day training sessions organised. In 2019 we had a great training day at Cleethorpes and Clumber Park – in 2020 we learned more about training at home! For 2021 we are checking out more venues to add to our away day activities.

Mondays. Full Day 10-4 £35.00

This could be anything from the Activities programme – you can put in requests or wait and see what our resourceful trainers have in store. Interesting and enriching training days.


2021 MONDAYS Evenings 6.30-8.30pm £20

Most Monday Evenings a mix of training life skills, activities and socializing with like-minded people. Indoors or out depending on weather. An opportunity to ask for what you would like to do. Enjoy a range of activities that stand alone or will act as work towards your MDT


2021 CANINE ACTIVITY CAMPS – FRI-SUNDAY £195 incl camping.

Second person from same camping unit comes half price.

Each camp will have a theme e.g., the first one is ‘mostly parkour’ – but will be mixed with other activities to allow for a balanced and enjoyable weekend- we might throw in some basic obedience control, rally, tricks & clicks, doggy dance, or anything from our activities list.

No Experience necessary. All Breeds and Levels Welcome.

Stay on site (or local) for the best experience. Day trippers welcome if space allows.

  • April 9-11 (Mostly Parkour),

  • July 9-11 (Mostly Scent work),

  • Sept 24-26 (Mostly Agility & Hoopers).

A mixture of activities to enjoy.

➢ Friday – camp site open from 12 noon. (Additional camping available on request.)

➢ Training 2pm – 4 on Friday Afternoon and then 6.30 – 8.30 Friday evening.

➢ 10-4 Saturday, evening 6.30-8.30. Sunday10-3.

➢ Evening socials (takeaways if you want) and evening training sessions.
