The Return of our 'Canine Activities Camp'

October 24th - 30th 2026.

£300 including camping on site.

Tents, caravans, motorhomes, etc., all welcome.

Easy installations can be arranged.

Plus, local accommodation is available for non-campers.

Tea/coffee will be supplied; bring your own food.

We will organise a few eat-together sessions with takeaways, maybe a barbaque weather permitting.

Your Instructors will be Angela White, Karen Holmes, and maybe a few invited guests.

Arrive to meet up on Saturday afternoon - share an evening of dog chat, communal food/takeaway.

Camp and walk on our 18-acre grounds, with woodland, a fenced exercise field, and additional walks within easy reach.

Training starts Sunday 25th and runs through to 3 pm Friday 30th.

Over the week, we will cover as many activities as possible - if you have enough energy, you can have a go at everything or pick and choose and take time out. In the evenings, you can relax, join a quiz, enjoy conversation with like-minded people, or just sleep!

All activities will start at an introductory level, so no experience is necessary, and we will progress you and your dog based on your levels, ability and wishes. You can have a dabble and see what comes from it - youmay find a new interest, or just have a great few days.

At the beginning of the week, we will develop a timetable based on the group's preferences.

Activities available include:

  • Nosework - choose from tracking, area search, detection, discrimination, and woodland rescue.

  • Parkour - using the environment to create interactive walks.

  • Hoopers - low-impact control around hoops and barrels

  • Agility - starter course with gentle progression

  • Dog Dancing (heelwork to music) - some moves for fun and demo.

  • Tricks and Clicks - learn more about Clicker training through teaching tricks

  • Media training - use your training to control your dog on a film set.

  • Gundog Training (with any breed) - Learn the basics of control and retrieve.

  • Rally Obedience - learn to handle your dog while thinking about which way to go!

  • Carting - teach your dog to pull a cart (large or small).

  • Tribball, Flyball, Long reigning

  • Problem Solving - throughout the sessions, as well as extra Q&A sessions.

  • Plus, we are open to suggestions... (Let's hope we don't regret saying that!)
